Our Story
QuickScriber was born from a simple frustration: rewatching a two-hour lecture just to find one quote. Scrubbing through podcast interviews to pull a specific insight. Watching the same video three times because you couldn't remember where that important point was made. Anyone who learns or researches from video has felt that pain.
We realized the problem wasn't the video — it was that video isn't searchable. You can't Ctrl+F a YouTube lecture. You can't copy-paste from a podcast. Auto-captions are scattered, hard to export, and rarely accurate enough to cite. So we built QuickScriber to fix that, turning any video into clean, timestamped text you can actually use.

How QuickScriber works
QuickScriber accepts video from anywhere. Paste a link from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo, or most public hosts. Drag and drop your own MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, or WebM files up to 2 GB. We'll fetch the audio, send it through our transcription pipeline, and return a clean, timestamped transcript ready to search.
Once a transcript exists, the rest of QuickScriber kicks in. Use full-text search to jump to a quote, click any timestamp to replay that moment, or open AI chat to ask questions across that video or an entire folder of related transcripts. Export to plain text, JSON, SRT subtitles, or DOCX whenever you need to take the words somewhere else.
With automatic language detection across 50+ languages and optional speaker identification for interviews, QuickScriber works just as well on a German linguistics lecture as it does on an English-language podcast.
